Facts and myths
Homoeopathy is slow to act: This is entirely untrue especially in the cases of acute conditions like colds, fevers or diarrhoea. The quickness of the treatment in chronic conditions, however, depends on the duration and severity of the issue and the current status of the immune system.
Homoeopathy increases and then decreases the condition: This is only partly true for certain skin conditions. Today, treatment methodologies have changed to prevent any form of aggravation.
Homoeopathy contains steroids: Medication given as a part of any homeopathic treatment does not contain any form of steroids.
Homoeopathy is a placebo: One of the most commonly held misconceptions, multiple studies now show that homoeopathy is, in fact, based on nanomedicine.
Homoeopathy is not scientific: Homoeopathy has a solid scientific backing with vast literature including scientific research data along with many controlled clinical studies and trials. Research continues to be conducted on a global scale and knowledge continuously updated.
